DeepBeat creator program — create at depth.

The DeepBeat creator program selects a small roster of underwater filmmakers, photographers, DJs and travel storytellers to document the DeepBeat Dive Festival launch edition in Maafushi, Maldives, 10–14 March 2027. Selected creators get early access, takeovers and edition residencies.

Creator program FAQs

Do creators get paid?
Compensation is agreed individually with each selected creator before any commitment is made. Access is the starting point, not a promise of payment.
Do I need to be a certified diver?
Underwater work requires at least PADI Open Water (or equivalent). Topside and music creators don't need certification.
Is there a follower minimum?
No. We select on the quality of your work and its connection to the ocean, not follower count.
Who owns the content?
You do. What you make is yours to publish; usage rights for festival campaigns are agreed per project.
How do I apply?
Email hello@deepbeatdives.com with the subject 'DeepBeat Creator Program', where you create, and three pieces of work. The Maafushi 2027 roster is curated ahead of 10–14 March 2027.
